Camp Burgess Outdoor Education Director Takes Field Trips of Her Own

The winter months at Camp Burgess & Hayward find program directors in full-swing processing registrations, hiring seasonal staff, developing programs, and planning logistics for the busy months ahead. With the administrative load more intense than usual, Camp’s Outdoor Education Director, Kerri Sadoff, stays connected to her community by taking field trips to visit Camp’s partner schools. Her personal visits to meet with children, teachers, and parents in advance of their own field trip to Burgess Outdoor Education Center builds excitement and prepares students and adults alike for the meaningful experiences they will have at Camp. Kerri’s presentations also serve to spread awareness about the South Shore YMCA’s mission, branches, and programming. Kerri has recently met with students, parents, and staff at Johnson Middle School in Walpole, Abigail Adams Middle School in Weymouth and The British International School of Boston.
